Risk Disclosure & Risk Management
Last updated: June 2026
Trading gold and forex can cause you to lose money - possibly all of it.
BreakThruFX provides trading tools and educational signals, not financial advice and not a guarantee of profit. No system wins every trade. Losing streaks, drawdowns, and full account losses are a normal and expected part of trading. Only risk money you can afford to lose entirely without affecting your financial wellbeing.
1. High Risk of Loss
Trading foreign exchange (forex) and gold (XAU/USD) carries a high level of risk and is not suitable for every investor. The high degree of leverage available in these markets can work against you as easily as it works for you, and can lead to the loss of some or all of your deposited funds. You should not trade with money you cannot afford to lose, and you should be aware of all the risks associated with leveraged trading.
2. No Guarantee of Profit
No representation is being made that any account will or is likely to achieve profits or losses similar to those shown or discussed. Our signals, indicators, and strategies are based on a defined set of rules and historical edge, but markets change and no edge persists forever. Any decision to follow a signal, mirror a trade, or run the strategy is made entirely at your own discretion and risk.
3. Past & Hypothetical Performance
Performance figures, backtests, and historical results shown on this website or in our channels are based on historical market data and may include hypothetical or simulated results. Past performance is not indicative of future results. Backtested and simulated results have inherent limitations: they are prepared with the benefit of hindsight, do not involve real financial risk, and do not fully account for slippage, variable spreads, swap/financing costs, commissions, broker execution differences, or liquidity gaps. Real-account results will differ, sometimes materially, from historical or hypothetical figures.
4. Not Financial Advice
BreakThruFX is not a licensed financial advisor, broker, or fund manager, and nothing we publish constitutes personalized investment, financial, legal, or tax advice. Our signals and educational content are general in nature and do not take into account your personal financial situation, objectives, or risk tolerance. You are solely responsible for your own trading decisions. If you need advice, consult a licensed professional in your jurisdiction.
5. Position Sizing & Lot Selection
You are responsible for choosing your own lot size and risk per trade. The single fastest way to blow an account is oversizing. Trade a lot size small enough that a string of consecutive losses still leaves you with capital and composure to continue. As general risk-management practice, many traders risk only a small, fixed percentage of their account on any single trade and never increase size to “win back” a loss. The correct size for you depends on your account, your broker, and your own risk tolerance - when in doubt, size down.
6. Automated & Copy Trading Risk
If you connect the strategy to a broker via PineConnector, a VPS, or any automation, you accept additional risks including but not limited to: internet or VPS outages, platform or webhook downtime, alert delays, misconfiguration, incorrect symbol or lot settings, broker rejections, and orders filling at prices different from those shown. Automation does not remove risk - it executes faster than you can intervene. You are responsible for monitoring your account, verifying your settings, and maintaining the capital and margin required to operate safely.
7. Pip & Target Figures
Pip distances, take-profit and stop-loss levels, and running pip tallies shown in our signals and posts are illustrative of the strategy’s levels and historical tracking only. They are measured on the reference instrument and do not represent the actual monetary profit or loss on your account, which depends on your lot size, broker, spread, and execution. Pip totals are not a promise of repeatable returns.
8. Your Responsibility
By using BreakThruFX products, signals, or content, you acknowledge that you understand these risks and that you trade entirely at your own risk. BreakThruFX shall not be liable for any trading losses, missed trades, technical failures, or other damages arising from the use of our tools or signals. This Risk Disclosure supplements, and should be read together with, our Terms of Service.
